WHAT IS CORE ENERGETICS?
Core Energetics is an evolutionary process for working with energy and consciousness that integrates all aspects of the human personality—the physical, the emotional, the psychological, the will, and the spirit. The purpose of the work is to develop consciousness and the free flow of energy to allow more truth, more connectedness, more creativity, more pleasure, and more love.
Core Energetics is part of the evolution of body psycotherapy or somatic psychotherapy that began with Wilhelm Reich. Founded by John Pierrakos MD, who was a patient and student of Reich’s and co-founder of Bioenergetics, Core Energetics integrates the spiritual and psychological teachings of the Pathwork with the understanding of human energetics and psychological development. This creates a unique integral approach that works directly with our specific adaptations and our habitual patterns with the purpose of freeing the best in us—our capacity for love and healing.

WHAT IS THE PATHWORK?
The Pathwork is a body of practical spiritual and psychological wisdom that describes a step by step process for personal transformation from duality to unity. The 258 lectures given by Eva Pierrakos describe the details of working with the limiting distortions of inaccurate thoughts, undeveloped emotions, and the destructive forces of negative intention. All of these are dealt with in great detail with the intention of freeing the Higher Self—the Divine Spark that exists in all of us and that is meant to guide our lives. These lectures are some of the most specific and powerful material available for learning to deal with the destructive forces of personal negativity: self will, pride, and fear, and all their manifestations that keep us from our true divine capacity.
